In NYC, where might one go to find socks in about a hundred colors, clothing designed in participation with Jil Sander, real indigo denim made in Japan?

“UNIQLO, a new-style Japanese firm making good casual clothes available for all to wear.”

UNIQLO feels like a marriage of American Apparel and Benetton – highly affordable and free spirited. Seen on their site, everything looks attractive – in person, just slightly less so – the cost cutting is generally obvious, but inoffensive. Online or in person, make it a destination.
